Tech Build Spring 2019

In Spring 2019, students completed the interior and exterior finishes of OregonBILDS house #5 at Hope Lane.

Landscaping began after the house was completed. From the street, the right side of the house is a large front porch defined on by a storm water planter. In the middle is the front bedroom, and on the left is the screened outdoor space in front of the bonus/storage area of the house.

The kitchen in this house is in the center of the main space, reflecting the reality that the kitchen is usually the social hub. A transition space at the front door with storage for shoes, coats, backpacks, umbrellas, etc. is an important element of all OregonBILDS houses.
